What Makes This Relaxation Different?

During your normal waking hours your brain is said to be in Beta level, 15-40 cycles per sec, low amplitude and faster in frequency, which is highly efficient and well suited for intellectual and physical work. As you are taking a break or relaxing and getting ready to fall asleep your brain waves slow down to 9-14 cycles per sec which is Alpha level. This is the optimum level for deep relaxation and enhanced learning.
